Verbadoc

Terms of Use

These terms describe the basic rules for using Verbadoc, including local-first document storage, Verbadoc, exports, and App Store purchases.

Your responsibility for document content

Verbadoc helps you prepare drafts and follow-up materials faster, but you remain responsible for checking client names, pricing, scope, due dates, taxes, payment terms, reminder timing, and any final PDF or message you decide to send.

Using the app

Verbadoc is provided to help you create proposals, invoices, estimates, scopes, punch lists, and related drafts. You are responsible for reviewing generated content, confirming pricing and scope details, and making sure exported documents are correct before you send or rely on them.

Local-first documents

Verbadoc stores working documents locally on your device unless a feature clearly says it is connected. Removing the app or wiping local device storage can remove that local data. Verbadoc supports local recovery-file backup and restore, but it does not promise automatic cloud backup, off-device sync, or cross-device library sync.

Verbadoc

Verbadoc lets you capture or paste a transcript, review it, and request a structured draft. Speech recognition on iPhone uses Apple's speech services, and AI parsing uses Verbadoc's hosted service together with OpenAI. Generated drafts are meant to speed up review, not replace your own judgment or final approval.

Follow-up reminders and alerts

Verbadoc can save local follow-up reminders after you export or share eligible documents. Device-local notification alerts are optional and depend on operating system permissions and device behavior. Verbadoc does not guarantee that every local alert will appear on every device or at every exact minute, so you should not rely on reminders as your only record of work that must be done.

Message drafts and sending

Verbadoc can prepare follow-up message drafts for SMS, email, and copy-to-clipboard. Those drafts are suggestions only. Verbadoc does not automatically send customer messages for you. Any actual text message or email is sent only if you choose to continue in your own device's messaging or mail app.

Subscriptions and billing

Note Optimizer may be offered through Apple's in-app purchase system. Pricing, billing period, and any renewal terms are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm payment. If a product is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, Apple bills your Apple Account at confirmation and manages renewal, cancellation, and refund rules under Apple's policies. RevenueCat is used to validate entitlement status and restore purchases.

Exports and sharing

PDF export happens on-device. Once you export or share a file, you control where it goes next, including any email, messaging, file storage, or printing destination you choose.

Backup and restored records

If you export a recovery file, you are responsible for where that file is stored and who can access it. Imported follow-up reminders and other restored local records may require manual review, rescheduling, or cleanup after import. Restoring a reminder record does not guarantee that any past phone alert is still active.

Acceptable use

You may not use Verbadoc to violate the law, infringe another party's rights, or send misleading or fraudulent pricing, billing, inspection, or follow-up materials. You are responsible for the documents and communications you create with the app.
